Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for inventory management and waste reduction of multiple MRO categories of spend. The goal of this position is to minimize working capital, by implementing effective inventory management practices.
Responsible for accurate releasing of raw materials to suppliers and the scheduling of delivery appointments.
Areas of responsibility include, corrugated, ink, coating, pallets, stretch film, shrink film, glue, finishing belts.
Monitor delivery performance of raw materials suppliers and trucking companies.
Develop/implement new processes to improve departmental efficiency.
Requests purchase orders for components and materials.
Analyst is responsible for ensuring effective management of all raw- packaging- and WIP materials in order to minimize potential losses for the organization.
Actively manage monthly aging inventory by working cross-functionally with Marketing- Sales- Finance- Supply- Demand- and Materials to identify potential RPW Waste.
Implement a preferred vendor program (stretch film, pallets, etc.) & vendor scorecard system.
