Job Description
JOB FUNTIONCS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
* ASSIST WITH THE ADMINISTRATION OF EMPLOYEE BENEFIT, COMPENSATION, PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL PROGRAMS, PERSONNEL RECORD KEEPING, UNEMPLOYMENT CLAIMS AND TRAINING.
* ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH THE AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PROGRAMS.
* ASSIST HR MANAGER REGARDING EMPLOYEE RELATIONS ISSUES AND RECOMMENDS ACTIONS WHICH ARE CONSISTENT WITH CORPORATE POLICIES.
Job Requirements
• Demonstrated experience in change management, labor and employee relations preferably in a manufacturing environment or equivalent
• Must possess effective time management, problem solving, organizational and priority setting skills
• Must possess strong knowledge of HR legal issues including federal, state and local laws and regulations related to employment, wage and hour.
• Must possess excellent communication (written and verbal). Strong facilitation skills are a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Internet skills required
• Must have a working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
