Job Description

Superior Staffing is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks.

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, upkeep, and repair of tools, gauges, machinery, and automated systems. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with specialized knowledge and hands-on experience in PLC programming and automation control systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of our Tools, Equipment, & PLC Automation Systems, to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
  • Estimate time and extent of repairs
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance
  • Maintain material and supply inventory
  • Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
  • Routine Maintenance: Performing scheduled maintenance tasks on automated equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic malfunctions in fixtures, gauges, or automated systems.
  • Calibration and Testing: Conducting regular calibration of equipment and performing testing to verify functionality and accuracy.
  • Emergency Repairs: Responding to equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize production interruptions.
  • Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and protocols.
  • Upgrades and Modifications: Assisting in the installation of new equipment, upgrades, or modifications to existing systems.
  • Training and Support: Providing training to operators on proper equipment use and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Monday-Friday/ 7:00am-3:30pm + OT
  • Temp to Hire
  • Resume is a must
  • Pay Rate $20.00- $30.00
